Disposers

Few people realize that garbage disposers are only designed to handle light food residue that is rinsed from plates and cooking utensils before they go into dishwasher.

Large quantities of food and debris going into disposers can overwhelm them and clog the kitchen sink drain.  Few things are more frustrating than a kitchen sink that won't drain but we will repair or replace broken disposers and get yor sink back to normal in no time.

Faucets and Sinks

We can handle and faucet repair, replacement part of a kitchen sink, bathroom sink, bathtub, shower, wet bar, laundry room, water shut-off valves or even an outdoor hose bib.  Faucets contain moving parts and they break or wear out over time.  Out of all the plumbing companies in North America, nobody repairs and replaces more faucets than JL Phelps & Associates Plumbing and Mechanical LLC.

We can solve any sink clog; repair or replace an existing sink or install a new one wherever you need it,  whether in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room or bar.

Floor Drains

Floor drains are essential for removing and preventing standing water in areas which are prone to flooding.  Floor drains are most often found in basements, garages, laundry rooms, patios, and sometimes in older bathrooms.

  • Floor drains must remain unclogged and clear of all debris
  • Homeowners should test floor drains at least twice a year to ensure they are working properly.

We will unclog your floor drains the same way we clean sewer or sink drains.  We will use and electric drain cleaning machine that cuts through any and all blockages inside the pipe.  Your drains will flow like new and give you trouble-free service for a long time.

Showers and Tubs

Today's bathrooms feature an array of shower and tub designs.  Most are conventional tub & shower combinations, others are ornate with a variety of water jets, shower heads and faucet designs.  We are licensed plumbing specialists and are masters of all shower repairs, bathtub drain repairs, water pressure issues and even installations/replacements.  We are the experts to call for your bathroom plumbing solutions.

Sewer Lines

We can also repair or replace water and sewer lines to correct a number of problems, including:

  • Broken, cracked, offset or collapsed pipe - Damaged pipes due to shifting soil, frozen ground, settling.
  • Blockage - grease buildup or a foreign object is restricting or prohibiting proper flow and/or cleaning of the line.
  • Corrosion - pipes deteriorate and break, causing the collapses in the line restricting the flow.
  • Bellied pipe - a section of the pipe has sunk due to the ground or soil conditions, creating a valley that collects paper and waste.
  • Leaking joints - the seals between pipes have broken, allowing water to escape into the areas surrounding the pipe.
  • Root infiltration - tree or shrub roots have invaded the sewer line, preventing normal cleaning and have damaged the line.
  • Off-grade pipe - existing pipes are constructed of substandard material that may have deteriorated or corroded.

As professional commercial and residential plumbers installers of sewer, water and gas lines, much of our work involves bathroom plumbing.  We can help you make your dream bathroom a reality, clean clogged drains, make small and major repairs, and service your plumbing fixtures and equipment. We install bathroom plumbing fixtures and heating systems, service and install hot water heaters, too.
